Crab is so good, but I especially like it dipped in butter. These are some more recipes for things to make with crab. Also see recipes for lobster

Imperial Crab (Recipe from 1974)
Makes 4 servings

1/4 cup butter
1 cup half and half
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
2 teaspoons Worchershire sauce
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon pepper
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 pound crabmeat
Cracker Crumbs

Melt butter in a double boiler. Mix in half and half, mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and egg, stirring constantly. Add crabmeat. Fill individual casseroles with mixture. Sprinkle on cracker crumbs. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes until golden brown.

Deviled Crab

1 lb crabmeat
1 1/2 cups rolled cracker crumbs
3/4 cup finely diced celery
3/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup milk
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
Few grains cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1 tablespoon chopped green pepper

Combine the crabmeat with the crumbs, celery, and onions, and moisten with the butter and milk. Season with the mustard, salt, cayenne, parsley, and green pepper. Mix thoroughly, pile into shells or a casserole, and bake in a 350 oven about 1/2 hour.

Crab and Noodle Casserole

This recipe for Crab and Noodle Casserole uses those wide noodles. You then add a sauce with crab meat, and bake in the oven. Sounds Yummy!

Here's some recipes for Crab Salad!

Crab and Tomato Salad

Remove meat from hard-shelled crabs; there should be one cup. Add two-thirds cup celery, cut in small pieces, and six small tomatoes peeled, chilled, and cut in quarters. Moisten with Mayonnaise. Serve on lettuce leaves, and garnish with Mayonnaise, curled celery, and small pieces of tomato.

My Favorite Crab Salad

Slightly shred imitation Crab into a bowl with fingers. Add 1 chopped tomato, 1/2 chopped green pepper, and 1/2 c. frozen peas( if desired). Add several T. mayonaise and stir. Serve chilled.

Crabby Mac Salad

1-8oz shell macaroni, cooked, drained, and chilled
1 lb. flaked crab meat, chopped
4oz cream cheese
1/2 c. milk
1 1/2 c. salad dressing
1/2 c. chopped carrots or celery
2 boiled eggs, chopped
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt

Mix all ingredients. Add more milk or salad dressing when ready to serve if a little dry.

Recipes for Appetizers with Crab!

Crab Roll Appetizers

8 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp onion salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
6 oz snow crab or imitation crab

Mix first 3 ingredients. Drain and flake crab and add to mixture. Divide in half and form 2 rolls. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours. Just before serving, pour cocktail sauce on the rolls. Serve with various crackers.

Crab Appetizer

12oz pkg. cream cheese
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp. mayonnaise
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 small onion, grated
dash of garlic salt
1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
6 1/2oz can crab meat
fresh parsley

Blend cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, mayonnaise, lemon juice, onion and garlic salt by hand and spread on a shallow plate. Pour a bottle of chili sauce on the spread. Layer the crab meat on top of the sauce. Sprinkle the top with fresh parsley. Chill and serve with crackers.

Canapes Lorenzo

Toast slices of bread cut in shape of horseshoes. Cream two tablespoons butter, and add one teaspoon white of egg. Spread slices of bread, rounding with Crab Mixture, cover with creamed butter, sprinkle with cheese, and brown in the oven. Serve on a napkin, ends towards centre of dish, and garnish with parsley.

Crab Mixture. Finely chop crab meat, season with salt, cayenne, and a few drops of lemon juice, then moisten with Thick White Sauce. Lobster meat may be used in place of crab meat

Hot Crab Dip

2 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 drops Tabasco sauce
1/4 c. light cream
1 tsp. finely chopped onion
1 tsp. garlic flakes
2 (3oz) pkgs. cream cheese
1/4 c. mayonaise
1/8 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. Worcestersauce
6 1/2oz can of crab meat

Drain crab meat. Pour lemon juice over crab meat. Combine remaining ingredients. Add to crab meat and juice. Put in saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until creamy. Serve with any type of crackers.
