Blender Mixed Drinks Recipes
These mixed blender drinks are from a 1970 blender recipe book. I don't drink, but there's probably many people out there in web land that still likes mixed drinks.

- 5 oz brandy
- 3 oz creme de cacao (heavy cream for a richer drink)
- 3/4 cup crushed ice
Put all ingredients into blender. Cover and press button 2 for 10 seconds.
- 5 oz Bacardi Rum
- 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon grenadine ( or 3 generous dashes)
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 cups crushed ice
Put all ingredients into blender. Cover. Press button 2 for 20 seconds, blend longer if desired.
This treat is also marvelous on warm summer evenings. For a frozen Bacardi just increase the ice. Serve with short straws.
- 12 oz tomato juice (1 1/2 cup)
- 4 oz vodka
- 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- dash or two of celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- dash or two of Tabasco
- 1/2 cup crushed ice
Put all ingredients into blender. Cover. Press button 6 for 15 seconds.
The perfect drink for a morning brunch. As a cocktail before dinner, add a stalk of celery with leaves left on for a swizzle stick.
- 3 oz of light rum
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cups crushed ice
Put all ingredients into blender. Cover. Press button 14 for 50 seconds. As mixture freezes around blades, remove cover and carefully push crust downward with rubber spatula, or stop motor and stir down with a rubber spatula. Start motor again and continue to blend for desired consistency.
Sloe Gin Fizz
- 1 1/2 oz. Sloe Gin
- 3 oz. Lemon Soda or Lemon Juice
- Club Soda or Sparkling Water
Combine sloe gin and lemon soda or lemon juice in a shaker filled with ice, shake, pour into a highball glass filled with ice and fill with club soda or sparkling water.
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 4 oz whiskey
- 1 cup crushed ice
Put all ingredients into blender. Cover. Press button 6 for 15 seconds. Blend longer for a frothy top, if desired.
Lightning (not a blender drink)
- Orange juice
- Pineapple juice
- Maraschino cherries
- Orange segments
- Burgundy wine
Combine orange juice and pineapple in equal amounts. Add vodka to taste. Splash a little wine in each drink and garnish with a cherry and orange segment.
- 12 oz can of frozen orange juice
- 12 oz can frozen lemonade
- 1 cup strong tea
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups vodka
In a 2 quart pitcher, combine all ingredients. Store in freezer. To serve, put 2 tablespoons in 8 oz glass and fill with Ginger Ale or 7 up.
