Easy Tuna Recipes
The best part of this first tuna casserole recipe is the crunchy potato chips on top. We always have some potato chip crumbs left in the bottom of the bag. So I save them in an air tight bowl until ready to use. And hey, even if they are stale that's okay. The oven will straighten that out. Tuna Casserole 1
- 8 oz of macaroni - cooked and drained
- One can of tuna - drained - Plop in a bowl and separate tuna with a fork.
- 1/4 cup chopped celery or 1/2 cup of peas
- Chopped onions to taste.
- 1 can of Mushroom Soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup grated American cheese or 4 slices torn in small pieces - optional
- 1/2 crumbled Potato Chips
-Cook onion and celery until tender
-Blend in soup and seasonings
-Combine with tuna and macaroni - add cheese
-Put into casserole dish Crumble potato chips on top
-Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. This recipe can be easily doubled
Tuna Casserole 2
- 2 cans macaroni and cheese
- 1 can of peas, drained
- 1 can tuna, drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- cracker crumbs or crushed potato chips
Mix together. Sprinkle cracker crumbs or crushed potato chips on top. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
Note: 1 prepared box of mac and cheese can probably be substituted for the 2 cans.

Tuna Rollups
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 cup oil
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 can tuna - drained
- 1/2 cup celery - minced
- 1 egg
Sift dry ingredients, add oil and milk. Stir with a fork. Kneed about 10 times. Roll out and cut into 9 squares. Combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Spread 2 tsp. of tuna filling over each square. Roll each like a jelly roll. Place sealed side down on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes at 350°.
Serve with cream of celery, mushroom or cream of chicken soup.
Macaroni and Cheese with Tuna
- 1 can tuna
- 1 box mac and cheese
- 1 can of peas
- milk
- butter
Cook Macaroni and Cheese as directions say, add the peas and tuna. Warm and serve.
Takes 15 min.
Meat-Tuna Casserole
- 1 med. size can tuna fish drained and flaked
- 1 small pkg. potato chips, crushed
- 1 - 3 oz. jar stuffed olives
- 1 can mushroom soup
Roll out potato chips and add all ingredients together. Place in greased casserole and bake in 350 degree oven until done, about 30 minutes.

Tuna Toast Melt
- Bread slices
- 2 cans tuna
- 1 can mushroom soup
- a dozen or so crushed crackers
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
Mix ingredients together and spread on top of bread slices. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 400 until tops are looking slightly browned. Delicious! Cook about 15 min. Serves 6-8
Chinese Scalloped Tuna
- 1 cup chunk tuna (6 1/2 oz.)
- 1 cup mushroom soup
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup Chinese Noodles
Saute celery and onion until clear, but not soft. Mix all ingredients. Save some noodles for topping. Bake in a casserole for 35-40 minutes at 350°. Add can of Chinese vegetables for variety, if you like, or 2 Tblsp. of A-1 sauce for variation of flavor.
